AB Ukulele Band Home

About Us: AB Ukulele Band formed in 2019 and is made up of enthusiastic players from around the Bridgnorth area in Shropshire, UK. Our repertoire includes well known standards from the rock, pop, folk, and country & western genres with the occasional experimental piece included when no one is watching. We can put a band together for your next charity event or any other worthwhile cause, just get in touch, email: abukes@gmx.com. Information for Players: In the interest of achieving a balanced sound, we prefer everyone to play a regular ukulele (not banjolele or resonator ukulele, etc.), unless specifically forming part of the arrangement of particular songs. Players may appear in photos, video or audio of the band. Due to space limitations at our meeting place, unfortunately we are currently unable to accommodate any new members.

It was a beautiful, sunny summer’s afternoon and we provided music to eat puddings by. £930 was raised by the Tasley Pudding Club to help buy books for the Bridgnorth Read Easy group. Bridgnorth Read Easy is run by volunteers at Bridgnorth Library, and aims to help develop reading skills among adults in Bridgnorth and surrounding villages.

We have managed to raise over £1,000 for Severn Hospice so far this year which has been used to purchase a new VR head set, a microwave oven and two fold-up beds.
